Local Advertising
a. Rate per column inch is $10.00
b. Minimum ad is 1 column x 1 inch--or $10.00
c. Orders requesting special position will be honored whenever possible at an additional $3.00 per column inch; otherwise, all advertising is grouped near the rear of the paper
d. Early copy instructions receive preference
e. No cancellations valid after closing date, 9 a.m. 9 days prior to date of issue
f. Color rates on request
g. Rate given is for camera-ready art only
h. Adjustment of camera-ready art or altering previous ad is subject to additional one-time charge of $4.00 per column inch
National Advertising
a. Rate per column inch is $13.50
b. Minimum ad is 1 column x 1 inch--or $13.50

Classified Advertising
Classified advertising is set in display style. Minimum size is 1 column x 1 inch--or $10.00
Insert Rates
a. $90.00 per thousand
b. Inserts must be folded to be no larger than 7 inches x 11 1/2 inches and shipped directly to our printer
Commissions/Frequency Discount
a. Agency commission, 15%
b. Commission forfeited with failure to pay within 60 days
c. Frequency rate available for local advertising placed in four consecutive issues; forfeited with failure to pay within 60 days. This rate is $9.00 per column inch
Mechanical Requirements
a. Width of standard column, 2 3/8 inches
b. Maximum depth of column is 12 1/2 inches
c. Four (4) columns to a page (tabloid)
d. Average sixteen (16) pages per issue
e. Digital ads accepted in compatible formats on disk or email to jward@dioscg.org

a. Established 1965; circulation 17,700; readership 59,000
b. Mailed directly to subscribers on Wednesday, dated following Friday
c. Circulates by mail to 39 counties across all of Southern Missouri
Miscellaneous
a. Tobacco, beer, wine, liquor, political, raffle, and gambling advertising not accepted
b. Editor reserves right to reject an advertisement considered objectionable
